ABOUT ME
I grew up in the Nashville area, and have an interest in weather and maps for about as long as I can remember. My family was involved in hot-air balloning since I was in kindergarten, which requires a lot of weather knowledge, and this further inspired me to study science. I went to Mississippi State University to study meteorology for my undergraduate degree. Then I went to LSU for my masters and studied geography and climatology. While in Baton Rouge, I discovered a great love of South Louisiana's culture, especially the food! Now I live in Johnson City, TN, and enjoy the beautiful Appalachain Mountains and all the adventure and learning oportunities they provide.
